Organic lake-harvested wild rice is what we do. Origins Wild Rice Co. is a Canadian family owned and operated Wild Rice harvesting and distributing business based out of La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Established in 2018, Origins Wild Rice Co. is one of the largest independent wholesalers of wild rice grown in the Boreal Forest of Northern Saskatchewan. Our wild rice is TCO certified organic and is the perfect balance of quality, authenticity and sustainability that we are proud to offer to customers around the world.

At Origins Wild Rice Co., we take great care to ensure that our wild rice is organic and sustainably harvested. Wild rice grows in the pristine lakes and streams of northern Saskatchewan, where the environment nurtures this unique crop. It is our top priority to be good stewards of this untouched environment, taking care to preserve and protect the natural ecosystem with responsible organic regulated harvesting practices.
In addition to harvesting our own rice, we work closely with northern and remote communities to stimulate Wild Rice harvesting across the province. Our team operates with a “grassroots” approach. We do everything from engineering and building harvester boats from scratch, to harvesting, to processing and selling!
Premium Wild Rice
Our lake-harvested wild rice is an authentic, wildly grown crop manipulated only by mother earth. Once the wild rice is harvested it is cured naturally and roasted to perfection for a rich dark color and nutty flavor. Origins Wild Rice is committed to delivering the highest rated Grade A quality of long grain wild rice to our customers.
